The Peoria metro is up 10 spots from last year, proving that we are doing better than many other regions. CNNMoney.com announced its list of "Best Places to Launch a Business", where Peoria ranked #5 among midsized metro areas. Forbes.com released its fourth-annual ranking of the Best States for Business and Illinois climbs up the list. The Land of Lincoln is ranked the 24th best state in the country for business. This is up 9 spots from last year.
