2008 ATHENA Business/Professional Woman of the Year Award

The ATHENA Award Program celebrates the potential of all women as valued members and leaders of the community and recognizes those who support them. The ATHENA Award honors women who strive towards the highest levels of professional accomplishment. Those who excel in their chosen field, have devoted time and energy to their community in a meaningful way, and who also open paths so that others may follow.

ATHENA recipients must meet each of the three specific criteria:

  1. Assist women in reaching their full leadership potential
  2. Demonstrate excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business or profession
  3. Provide valuable service by devoting time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community

Nominations must be received by: Friday, August 15th 2008.
The Recipient of the award will be announced during The Heartland Partnership Annual Meeting, Thursday September 18th. The ATHENA Award will be presented at the Heartland Partnership Annual Meeting, September 18, 2008.
