The 2018 New Year’s Eve Countdown presented by Better Built will take place at the Peoria Civic Center for the second year on Monday, December 31st.

Beginning at 3:00 pm, the PNC Kids Countdown activities will take place in the Great Hall with a variety of events and entertainment for the whole family. Activities will include Wild Style Face Painting, superhero appearances, Game On, Unique Twist balloon making, Fun on the Run, performances by Communication Junction and more. The Peoria Notre Dame Drumline will lead the crowd from the Great Hall with a “Nola Style” parade over to our atrium and patio area for the 7:00 pm ball drop. Easter Seals will host a sensory friendly area in the WiFi Lounge. To celebrate their 100th anniversary, they will give away a family four pack to Cirque Du Soleil Crystal to one lucky attendee. Patrons can enter to win the ticket drawing by submitting their 2019 resolution.

Nighttime activities will kick off in Exhibit Hall A with DJ music at 9:00 pm, provided by AMP Radio. Live music from the Joe Stamm Band will begin at 9:45 pm. The traditional midnight ball drop will take place on the patio, visible from the indoor atrium, and then followed by fireworks.
