Celebrate Peoria: Día de los Muertos!

Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum, a Peoria Park District facility, will present Celebrate Peoria: Día de los Muertos in collaboration with Bradley University Association of Latin American Students, Sigma Lambda Gamma – Epsilon Alpha chapter, and community members. Celebrate Peoria is an ongoing series that celebrates the diversity of Peoria and Central Illinois.

What: Día de los Muertos is a regional Mexican holiday with Aztec roots that is held in honor of friends and family who have passed away. This celebration is an opportunity to remember death as a part of life. Attendees will participate in activities centered around this holiday.
When: Sunday, November 5 from 12:00-5:00pm
Where: Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum at 2218 N Prospect Road (in Glen Oak Park)
Admission: The event is free with the regular admission of $8 for ages 1-64; $7 for seniors and active military, and free for under age 1.
