Easterseals Announces Recent Grant Awards
Easterseals Central Illinois recently received three local grant awards supporting essential programs and services provided at its service centers in Peoria and Bloomington.
-The PNC Foundation awarded $25,000 to help provide Family Navigation services for families with young children with disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorders across the region.
-Ameren Illinois awarded $35,000 to partially support three Autism-specific services: the Autism Early Diagnostic Clinic serving Peoria and Bloomington, family resource centers in Peoria (Shadid Center) and Bloomington (CARE Center), and the Autism Learning Center for pre-school children with Autism in Peoria.
-The Community Foundation of Central Illinois with the Sertoma Foundation and Yeomans Fund awarded $3,933 to permit expansion and updating of the Augmentative and Alternative Communication Clinic serving Peoria and Bloomington.
