IHSA Boys Basketball State Finals- New: GA Seating and Security Measures
The IHSA State Basketball Tournaments and the March Madness Experience will return to the Peoria Civic Center on March 8-10 and 15-17. Heading into its 23rd year playing in Peoria, there will be a few notable changes for fans to be aware of.
This year the upper bowl and select sections in the lower bowl will be general admission seats. The switch to general admission is aimed to get fans closer to the action no matter which school they are supporting. This will also speed up the ticket purchasing process at the Toyota Box Office. General Admission seats are priced at an affordable $11 per ticket and tickets include access to the March Madness Experience.
The Peoria Civic Center is committed to providing everyone a safe and enjoyable experience. In order to do this, the venue has implemented a number of industry standard security measures. Metal detectors will be in use for the arena and entrance will be limited to 3 locations. Patrons entering the March Madness Experience will be subject to bag checks and additional security measures if needed. Fans are encouraged to read the entrance and security information prior to visiting the facility. Any prohibited items confiscated at the entry points will be discarded. Review the security and entrance information here at www.peoriaciviccenter.com/marchmadness.
Tickets are on sale now at the Toyota Box Office at the Peoria Civic Center, online at PeoriaCivicCenter.com and Ticketmaster.com, and by phone at 1-800-745-3000. For more information on IHSA, please visit https://www.ihsa.org.
