  • Midwest Food Bank is pleased to announce a number of position changes

    Midwest Food Bank is pleased to announce a number of position changes at its Peoria location, effective January 1, 2018.
     
    Monica Scheuer of MFB Peoria has been chosen as Executive Director at Midwest Food Bank, Peoria. Scheuer has been with MFB since 2014. As Executive Director, she will be responsible for ensuring MFB’s food service programs are executed with efficient use of facilities, employees, and volunteers. She will also be responsible for budgeting and other requirements for not-for-profit operations.
     
     “These changes allow Midwest Food Bank to continue to serve those in hunger while enabling sustainable growth,” says Mike Meece, Human Resources Director for MFB. “We are fortunate to have such highly qualified people serving in this position.”
     
    Midwest Food Bank has eight locations, seven in the United States and one in Africa. Its mission is to alleviate hunger and poverty by gathering and distributing food donations to not-for-profits and disaster sites without cost to the recipients.
