  • News Release: CityLink Welcomes Nick Standefer as Assistant General Manager

    (Peoria, IL) -- CityLink recently welcomed Nick Standefer to its management team as an Assistant General Manager. Standefer joins the First Transit Inc. team that manages CityLink’s public transportation services for the greater Peoria area, including Peoria, West Peoria, Peoria Heights, East Peoria and Pekin.

    This is Standefer’s first position as an employee of First Transit Inc. He was previously employed at Two Men and a Truck where he served as the Area Operations Manager. In this role, he supervised more than 70 employees. His other responsibilities included providing budget analysis; overseeing fleet maintenance, logistical routing, customer service and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.

    In Standefer’s role as Assistant General Manager at CityLink, he will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the bus maintenance facility and overseeing the bus operator training program.
    Standefer is a native of Springfield, Illinois, and he has Master of Arts degree in Organizational Development from Webster University.
