The Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Development Corporation and Greater Peoria Economic Development Council will be celebrating their grand opening with an official ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 4:30pm. There is an Open House immediately preceding the ribbon cutting beginning at 3:30pm. The new offices are located at 401 & 403 NE Jefferson Ave.
All organizations moved to their current location, owned by Huber Construction, on November 28 and have been functioning since then. The Peoria Chamber and Downtown Development are in the historic Judge Gale House and the GPEDC is located in the Carriage House. The old location of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council will be demolished this winter with plans for a green space downtown in 2018. The Downtown Development Corporation left its space in September and has since been housed with the Peoria Chamber.
Please join us at the Open House and Ribbon Cutting. For more information, call (309) 495-5900.
