|PEORIA, ILLINOIS, April 24, 2019 -

Board members also serve on standing committees alongside community members with a focus on improving the support of those who live, work, and play in the District.
The swearing in of the new Board will mark the end of service for Tim Cassidy, who has served Park Board President for the past 27 years. Mr. Cassidy did not run for re-election in 2019. Also stepping down is Central District Trustee, Warren Rayford, who served one term on the Board.
Peoria Park District staff have invited friends and family of current and new Board members to attend the meeting to celebrate; as well as, current and former District staff members who served with Tim Cassidy over his extended tenure. The public is also invited to attend. The meeting will be held in the auditorium of the Noble Center (1125 W. Lake Avenue) to accommodate for a crowd.
