Ronald McDonald House® Exceeds Goal to Raise Over $21,000 at First All-In Donation Day!
April 4, 2019 – A total of $21,179.00 was raised to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central Illinois as a result of their inaugural All-In Donation Day on Thursday, March 21, 2019. A goal was set to raise $20,000 to support the chapter in doubling their impact with the opening of a second House and continuing to provide the essentials of home to hundreds of families each year with a seriously ill child receiving medical care, and thanks to the incredible support of the community that goal was exceeded. Donations were matched throughout the day by several generous donors.
Questions regarding the All-In Donation Day can be directed to Allaina Blackwell at 217-528-3314 x148.
Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central Illinois provides the necessities of home for families with a seriously ill child receiving treatment. At RMHCCI, families can stay together and find strength in numbers during a critical time. RMHCCI provides families with a private bed and bath, meals, laundry, parking and more in order to ease the stress of a difficult time in their lives. Families stay at the House at no charge to them, regardless of their length of stay at the House. The Springfield House currently serves over 400 families each year, and the Peoria House, slated to open in late 2019 is estimated to serve 700 families annually. RMHCCI depends on the generous support of the community to be able to serve children and families.
