The Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the 37th Annual Community Thanksgiving Luncheon, on Friday, November 16, 2012 at the Par-A-Dice Hotel & Casino. A highlight of each year's luncheon is the recognition of a community volunteer who has worked diligently to make a difference in our community, the Tom Connor Service Award.
The award is named for Tom Connor – or Emil Sepich, Jr. As Tom Connor, he was a recognized broadcaster for WEEK –TV. As Emil he was less known but equally as important and valuable in his volunteer work. Emil put forth a lot of time and effort to make our community a better place to work.
