Join us at sunrise for a very special event as we celebrate our annual weather prediction with Gertie's appearance. Festivities include a parade led by Grand Marshall, Hanna City Mayor Fred Winterroth, educational presentations by Park naturalists, and musical entertainment featuring local musician, Barry Cloyd, singing his original "Wake-Up Gertie" song. Warm yourself up with hot beverages and signature Gertie treats!

6:00am - Park opens with FREE admission!

6:15am - Educational presentation on the history of Groundhog's Day by Park naturalists.

6:25am - Parade in honor of Gertie led by Grand Marshall, Mayor Fred Winterroth

6:45am - Educational presentation on groundhogs.

6:50am - Proclamation by Mayor Winterroth

6:54am - 'Wake-Up Gertie" Sing-a-long with Barry Cloyd

6:57am - Gertie's Outing and Prognostication

7:00am - Program Closing and Thank You with WPSP Board Members
