Energy Co-Op

Exclusive Chamber Member Benefit:

Good Energy - Energy Cooperative

Through our partnership with Good Energy, we combine all of our Chamber members into an aggregate pool to secure a much lower supply rate than you could receive directly from other providers.  If your business has not made the switch from Ameren to a new provider, you may not be aware that you have a choice in electricity and natural gas suppliers.  Deregulation opened the doors for competition in Illinois and allows for you to secure a low fixed-price contract.  This provides cost savings, budget stability and protects your business from market volatility.

If you have any questions or want to learn more about what the Good Energy Program can provide for your business, please contact Jerod McMorris at or 309.369.6352.

Resources & Information:

*Due to market conditions, residential Municipal Aggregation Programs in the Peoria region were paused beginning in June 2022. The programs plan to restart in June 2023, which is the earliest the programs can resume. In order for residents to remain eligible when their community's program restarts, they must be receiving default service from Ameren during the enrollment period. Ameren's current price to compare is lower than offers available to residents from third party suppliers and we advise everyone to remain with service from Ameren until your program resumes next year.
